HR Recruiter (Temporary) - $25.00-$28.00/hour - Full-Time 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday - ASAP start!
JOB SUMMARY
The Recruiter is responsible for the development of recruitment strategies and implements all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring excellence in hiring practices. The Recruiter assists the HR department with development, implementation, tracking, regulatory compliance, and evaluation of effectiveness for specific HR needs. The Recruiter is also a partner in the Career Pathways Program for recruitment of Interns in the field of Community Based Services. Experience and knowledge working in UKG/UltiPro is a plus!
Job Duties:
* Recruiter I
o Implement all aspects of recruitment including but not limited to the following:
o Advertising, screening, appropriate routing of candidates, and determination of employment status
o Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing
o Provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements
o Conducts references and background checks
* Maintain positive relationships with staff to enable communication regarding openings, promotions, and other
identified employee issues
* Represent agency at community events for recruitment and public relations purposes
* Present oneself to all levels of agency and community in a professional manner
* Accurately perform data entry, applicant tracking, filing, reporting and other HR-related tasks in a timely manner
* Work collaboratively as part of the HR team
Education & Experience:
* Recruiter I
o Education: A High School Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or another relevant field
o Basic knowledge of: HRIS databases and/or ATS (applicant tracking/management systems)
o Years of experience: For a High School Diploma: 3-6+ years' in a recruitment role, for an Associate's Degree: 2-5 years in a recruitment role.
*Ideal but not required: HR / recruiting experience within a Non-Profit Organization*
Skills & Requirements:
* Proven work experience as a Recruiter
* Working knowledge and experience in UKG/UltiPro
* Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (phone interviews, video interviews, in person interviews, group
interviews; including role plays
* Hands on experience with various selection processes (screening, interviewing, reference checks, background checks,
etc.)
* Exceptional personal engagement skills
* Ability to interface with all levels of agency and external customers in a highly professional manner
* Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Willingness and ability to work flexible schedule (includes some evenings and weekends)
* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to effectively lead, facilitate, and engage groups
* Familiarity with legal requirements in hiring best practices
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, community partners, consumers, and all levels
of management
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
