Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing tax-related advice. This role requires strong analytical skills, thorough knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to communicate complex information to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations
• Research tax issues and provide tax planning advice to clients
• Review and analyze financial statements and documents to ensure accuracy
• Communicate with clients regarding tax preparation, deductions, and planning opportunities
• Respond to inquiries from tax authorities as necessary
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with firm policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred
• Proven experience as a tax preparer or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
