Your new company

Our client is a family-owned construction company and general contractor established over 100 years ago. They have grown from a local business into one of the largest employee-owned construction managers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. They have 13 regional offices along the east coast, with an annual volume of $2.5 billion. They are a true builder with an in-house staff of carpenters, laborers and masons that build across multiple sectors, including Academic, Energy, Healthcare, Federal, Hospitality, Life-Sciences, Museums & Cultural, Landmark, Tech, and Multi-Family Residential.

Your new role

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating our clients' most complex and large scale projects valued at $50 million and above. This will involve conceptual and negotiated bids, value engineering, managing subcontractor relationships and keeping up to date with industry developments. You will also be responsible for preparing take-offs, participating in business development activities and assisting in pre-construction presentations and interviews. You will also lead a team of 6 estimators.

What you'll need to succeed

10-15 years experience in construction estimating within a GC/CM environment across various sectors.

Proven track record of estimating projects valued at $50Million and above.
BS or MS in Engineering, Construction Management or a similar field.
