The primary responsibility of the surgical urologic oncology APP is to provide and direct care for patients with urology oncology issues. Responsible for maintaining the quality-of-care standards for all procedures and clinical care provided in Urology. This APP will also provide direct patient care in the Cancer Center, first assist in the OR, bedside assist for robotic surgeries and perform bedside procedures if needed. Provides care in accordance with standardized policies, procedures, and protocols.
Ideal candidates will have surgical, oncology, inpatient and/or similar experience. Candidates must be acute care nurse practitioner certified or a physician assistant and either have or apply for a Georgia license.
