STANDARD HOURS: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Flexibility to work other hours as needed.

WAGE RANGE*: $25.81--$27.82 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a limited-term U.S. Department of Education grant funded position that will support the Project Manager in overseeing the administration of a five year, federally-funded U.S Department of Education Title III: Connect for Student Success grant. Primary responsibilities will include: ensuring compliance with U.S. Department of Education regulations, managing day-to-day operations, supporting reporting, evaluation, financial processes, and facilitating effective communication across the project team and organization.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Grant Compliance: Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Education regulations by maintaining records, tracking progress, and supporting internal control processes.
  • Financial Management: Reconcile accounts, manage and process budget adjustments, track expenses, and ensure alignment with federal cost principles and grant guidelines.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Coordinate gathering of data and information for annual and periodic reports, external evaluation, and organizing best practices for grant deliverables.
  • Team and Stakeholder Coordination: Support the project team in meeting deliverables, coordinating meetings, and ensuring communication between stakeholders.
  • Change Request Analysis: Analyze budget and project scope change requests, making recommendations to the Project Manager and U.S. Department of Education.
  • Facilitate Communication: Act as a communication hub, ensuring clear, timely, and consistent information flow within the project team and across the organization.
  • Guided Pathways Integration: Coordinate with the project team's alignment of grant activities with guided pathways initiatives, ensuring the grant supports student success and institutional goals.
  • Grant Close-Out: Assist with the development and execution of the grant close-out plan, including final reporting and communication of outcomes.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Associate's Degree in Project Management, or similar program
Experience: Two years related project experience preferred.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint or similar tool, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and web based survey tools and formats.

Certificates & Licenses

Must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's License and be insurable under the District's standard vehicle/liability insurance policy.
