Tig Welder Fabricator Cranston, RI
Hours: 6:00am- 2:30pm Monday- Friday
Pay: $21.00- $25.00 an hour
Job Overview:
A Welder Fabricator is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, pipes, and equipment. This role requires expertise in welding techniques, blueprint reading, and precision measurements.
Responsibilities:
Perform various types of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.
Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
Shape and assemble metal components using manual or automated tools.
Equipment Operation:
Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Welding Expertise:
Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Ability to weld various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Blueprint Reading:
Interpret and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
Fabrication Skills:
Experience in cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
