RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Technical Lead, Application Delivery & Strategy resource to join their team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid role, but the candidate will be required to go onsite as needed for software testing. (please no further than 30 minutes from the office). The resource will be supporting a new hotel and entertainment in TX and Las Vegas.Summary:This role is a jack of all trades, the days may consist of working on vendor contracts, answering legal questions, following up with QE team for testing strategy, vendor management, collaborating with outside business partners working on demos. The candidate will be collaborating with PMO and product partners, testing hardware in the onsite client's lab, prepping production hardware, configuration, and smoke testing hardware. Down the line, there may be travel to Vegas and Texas for in-venue install of hardware and testing.Responsibilities:- Technology Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction with Architecture and other technology/business partners
- Software Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hospitality software systems such as PMS, POS, CRM, booking platforms, and revenue management systems during and post project implementation
- Hardware Oversight: Works with Networking partners to ensure that all hardware systems (servers, networks, security systems, IoT devices, etc.) are functioning optimally and are integrated with software solutions
- Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party technology vendors for software licenses, hardware purchases, service agreements, and issue resolution; Assist with vendor selection and management including technical oversight of drafting SOW's, RFP's, vendor evaluation, budgeting, monitoring work progress from inception to implementation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, required or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of experience with technical implementation within the hotel industry: hotSOS, Oracle Symphony, Opera, etc.; Food and Bev software experience
- An ideal fit will be self-motivated and self-sufficient, will go out and find answers instead of sitting and waiting to be told what to do next
- Deadline driven; They shouldn't have to go to their manager for every decision and should have confidence to find out answers for themselves
- Great professional presence and have great written and oral communication
- There will most likely be 2-3 rounds of interviews
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
