Volt is immediately hiring for Tier 1 Tech Support Call Center Agent. This is a 100% remote position.
As a Tier 1 Tech Support Call Center Agent, you will:
- Receive inbound calls, email inquiries, and chat sessions from end users or company customers seeking assistance with their equipment.
- Provide prompt and accurate information to ensure inquiries and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computer storage devices (both direct and remote) and networking equipment.
- Escalate issues to the next support tier as needed.
- Assess the skill level of the customer and adjust communication and information accordingly.
- Fully document each interaction to provide complete notes for future communication.
This is a
full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Intermediate or higher knowledge of computer storage and networking.
- Excellent verbal and written customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate with customers of varying skill levels.
- Experience with storage file systems, network storage, direct storage, RAID, and networking configuration.
- Experience with Linux and mdadm is a plus.
- This is a remote work from home position. During Training you MUST have your own laptop, microphone and camera. Training can last up to 4 weeks, depending upon your experience level. Once you pass training, a laptop with accessories will be sent to you
Pay Rate:
$17.50 - $20.00 per hour Shift: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours a week. Shifts will be between 6AM and 9PM CST, Monday - Sunday. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
