RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Systems Engineer to join their team. Summary:The Systems Engineer will support Jenkins, Github, Artifactory and Sonarqube along with a few other tools. They are looking for this person to understand the in's and outs of these tools (and not just as a user) to be able to help the engineers solve their problems, whatever it may be. A lot of times it -why is my login for GitHub not working?- or it can be a quick configuration fix. The Systems Engineer must be able to check the logs and the debugger. Most of the support requests are sent with an error and they are expected to ultimately provide a solution. Overall, the majority of the role consists of integrating new tools, automating around the tools, configurations and build out of self-service apps in react and node. Communication and the ability to have a customer oriented attitude is also a must.REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-4+ years of DevOps/systems engineering experience
- Experience with tool configurations/integrations and automation (artifactory, github, Jenkins, etc.)
- Linux command line and scripting experience
- Node and React experience preferred
- Customer focused attitude
- Ability to learn quickly and experience with problem resolution
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
