We are seeking two Sustainability Managers, one to manage Data & Commercialization and the second to manage Products & Innovation. You'll play a pivotal role in executing our sustainability strategy, ensuring that it aligns with our business goals and values. Sustainability Manager - Data & Commercialization to provide sustainability expertise that supports the commercialization and value creation through sustainability in all Kimberly-Clark Professional (KCP) North America product categories (tissue, towel, skincare, and industrial wipes), bringing to life our commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining sustainability KPI tracking tools to share progress, manage opportunities, and highlight key achievements with internal stakeholders

  • Leveraging sustainability-related data to create value for customers, including completion of questionnaires/reports, product impact assessments, carbon footprints, and supply chain transparency, working with Supply Chain and Corporate Sustainability team

  • Providing customer-facing tools and support, reinforcing KCP's brand promise as a responsible partner who helps them achieve their sustainability goals

  • Creating and deploying tools that strengthen organizational capability to deliver the sustainability value proposition of KCP products and services

  • Understanding the evolving competitive and market landscapes, leveraging them to inform sustainability go-to-market recommendations

Sustainability Manager - Products & Innovation to provide expertise in support of sustainability innovation in all Kimberly-Clark Professional (KCP) North America product categories, including tissue, towel, skincare, and industrial wipes products, demonstrating our commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Partnering with Category Managers to integrate sustainability into category strategies through identification, prioritization, and getting resources for sustainability initiatives to meet customer needs

  • Collaborating with Product Development teams to integrate sustainable practices into product design and manufacturing processes to meet or exceed customer needs and K-C sustainability initiatives

  • Liaising with Corporate Sustainability team to ensure connection between business and category strategies to contribute to delivery of corporate sustainability goals (including Social, Plastics, Water, Waste, etc)

  • Evaluating market trends and customer needs on sustainability

  • Understanding the evolving competitive and regulatory landscapes, leveraging them to inform sustainability strategy recommendations

To succeed in either role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or sustainability-related discipline

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing/brand/category management roles, consulting roles, or sustainability roles with a demonstrated track record of growth, strategy deployment and strong analytical skill; ability to resolve complex problems and translate market observations to business opportunities

  • Strong ability to build and evaluate business cases and develop a multi-year roadmap to achieve key goals

  • Ability to create content and communicate with colleagues and leaders in a concise and persuasive format

  • Strong business and commercial acumen - understanding of market dynamics, P&L impacts. Ability to build and develop business cases

  • Strong analytical and fact-based decision-making skills while also being able to "connect the dots," and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity

  • Highly developed collaboration skills with an ability to work across a matrix organization, influencing peers, other functions with credibility
