RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Support Analyst.Responsibilities:- Preparing monthly accounting analysis, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and accounting transactions
- Provide ad hoc and routine reporting, analysis, tracking & monitoring in a timely and accurate manner
- Support local and corporate teams with month-end closing processes
- Assist management in special project work often involving information gathering, compilation, projections, and presentation, delegation of responsibilities, resource management, training of peers, system requirement/functionality, testing and implementation
- Provide accounting support and analysis to various Business Units
- Assist in adherence of compliance to company and division policies, internal controls, and standards
- Understanding of internal and external standards, controls, and regulations, (IFRS, SOX/MICs, etc.)
- Participate in process improvement projects as part of a finance/accounting team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience
- Accounting experience, including internships (a plus)
- Experience with MS Office suite including intermediate/advanced proficiency with Excel
- Experience analyzing business (financial or accounting) results of complex accounts
- Working knowledge of SAP System or similar ERP system
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset and dedicated team orientation
- Ability to set priorities; manage multiple projects, and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data
- Leadership skills to interact with other internal department management including senior management from finance/accounting or related groups
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
