Position Summary: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing key components of the company's financial statements and contributing to a smooth financial close process for our global entity. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a collaborative spirit to work with both internal and external partners.
MUST HAVE:
- Knowledge of NetSuite and GAAP/IFRS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close processes.
- Prepare and upload monthly journal entries.
- Conduct and analyze account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Record payroll and collaborate with HR to verify accurate financial data.
- Assist with audit requests and liaise with auditors as needed.
- Update and maintain process documentation for assigned accounting processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with the global finance department to execute various financial tasks.
- Participate in special projects and fulfill other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a multi-national organization.
- Familiarity with audit processes.
- Knowledge of NetSuite and GAAP/IFRS standards.
