RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant in Tampa, FL. The position is in office. Hybrid work arrangements may be available after six months of employment.Key Responsibilities:- Staff Accountant will maintain and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Utilize Microsoft platforms and various ERP systems for accounting functions
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall financial goals
- As a Staff Accountant, you will participate in month-end and year-end close processes
- Contribute to process improvements and system implementations
- Assist with billing tasks during high-volume periods
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Experience with at least one ERP
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
- Familiarity with RPA is considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
