Job Type: FULL TIME 40 HRS WEEKLY

Pay Range: $38.46 - $41.66 on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.)

Worker Schedule: Hybrid, onsite 3 days in-office per week.

Job Description:

What You'll Contribute

As the Senior Manager of Data Analytics, you will lead our analytics team, driving data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to support business strategies. You will be responsible for managing and executing analytics projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and overseeing the development and implementation of analytics solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to understand business objectives, identify analytical needs, and translate them into analytical projects.
• Design and execute analytics initiatives, including data collection, analysis, modeling, and visualization, to extract actionable insights.
• Develop and implement analytical models, algorithms, and methodologies to solve complex business problems.
• Provide strategic guidance on data-driven decision-making, utilizing advanced analytics techniques and tools.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analytics purposes.
• Present findings, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, adapting communication to different audiences.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in analytics, and identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies or methodologies.
• Manage and prioritize multiple analytics projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting the use of analytics to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Supporting private student loan pricing strategy business.
• Conducting end-to-end support strategy analytics
• Developing execution of pricing strategies, particularly for new loan originations or acquisitions
• Dispositioning credit applications and determining the right price or interest rate for customer based on a variety of factors.
• Supporting analytics and developments.
• Must be an independent thinker and able to creatively formulate solutions.
• Trend identification
• Working with partners to perform risk/reward or cost/benefit analysis
• Meeting with management to seek approval on strategies and working with execution partners from a first-line business standpoint to support implementation of strategies

Education and Experience

• Preference toward someone with credit or financial institution-related experience, however open to candidates with demonstrated success with functional applications of role.
• Seeking candidates who do not simply have strong technical and data warehousing skills and experience, but also have experience with business decision making, proposals, and developing strategies.
• Must be able to write queries and have good data mining and segmentation skills.
• Experience managing a team of analysts preferred but not required.
• Seeking a strong analytical talent and general business leader with at least intermediate coding skills.

Software Skills

• Must be experienced with SQL. Experience in the Snowflake SQL environment a plus, as this is what the team uses.
• SaaS, Power BI, and Python experience preferred.
