Where you come in:

  • You will effectively manage multiple, diverse projects with minimal direction and will report into the VP of Medical Affairs.
  • You will bring the medical affairs perspective to the product development process in close partnership with R&D. This will require cross-functional engagement as well as literature searches and KOL/SME engagement to gather and communicate medical insights in the context of patients, HCPs, payors, and regulators. You will also play a significant role in risk mitigation including on the development of system hazard analyses.
  • You will oversee the design and implementation of global medical inquiry.
  • You will collaborate closely with Clinical Affairs including on the conduct of advisory boards and data safety and monitoring boards.
  • You will require a combination of strategic thought, problem-solving, alignment to business needs, and tactical project execution.
  • You will work well in a global cross-functional team environment and engage in scientific discourse with medical and scientific experts.

What makes you successful:
  • You have a RN, PA, NP, MD, DO or equivalent degree.
  • You are experienced in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/medical device industry experience in Medical Affairs, preferred.
  • You have demonstrated deep knowledge of type 1 and type 2 diabetes with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience working with people with diabetes.
  • You are a strategic thinker with outstanding oral and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and you can independently drive projects to execution.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills in developing and maintaining successful stakeholder relationships (internal and external).
  • You have experience in the prodcut development process, preferred.

Travel Required:
  • 5 - 15%

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 13+ years of industry experience.
  • 5 - 8 years of previous people management experience.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
