Job Title Senior Data Analyst
How will you make an impact?
Collaborating with the leader of the Analytics team in Digital Commerce, the Senior Data Analyst will work towards supporting Thermo Fisher's eCommerce platforms by providing critical analytics that advise and implement strategic decisions. As part of the eBusiness organization, which is responsible for our customers' digital experience, you will play a key role in improving our industry-leading digital customer journey.
Responsibilities:
• Apply SQL to streamline, expedite and implement reporting processes.
• Use visualization tools like PowerBI to help business leaders understand impact areas.
• Design, build, and deploy BI solutions.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau).
• Manage large, multi-functional projects and IT implementations.
• Integrate data from various sources to create comprehensive web performance views and standard reports.
• Collaborate with teams to meet organizational needs and lead projects.
• Derive insights from data to identify opportunities for revenue and cost optimization.
• Communicate analytics insights to identify incremental revenue and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop real-time reporting to identify and address issues promptly.
• Develop and implement database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports for various projects.
• Maintain technical user documentation.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Perform report curation and data modeling.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience analyzing large, complex data sets to identify revenue and process improvement opportunities.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Knowledge of R, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, PowerBI, and Adobe is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and DataScience principles is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, listening, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
Travel:
• Domestic and international travel up to 10%.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $93,800.00-$120,000.00.
