Salary: $25.00 USD Hourly - $32.00 USD Hourly
Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant too work Part Time in Parker, CO!

Job Description:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, you will work part-time, providing essential support to the supervising speech and language pathologist. Your responsibilities include:

Speech and Language Interventions:

• Work independently, following plans provided by the Speech and Language Pathologist.
• Provide speech and language interventions for designated students, including oral, written manual, and augmentative communication.

Administrative Duties:

• Perform clerical and technical tasks for the Speech and Language Pathologist, such as preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring IEP (Individualized Education Program) compliance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress based on established intervention plans.

Collaboration and Representation:

• Consult and collaborate with the Speech and Language Pathologist, other building personnel, and SPED (Special Education) team members regarding services to students.
• Represent the Speech and Language Pathologist during IEP meetings and other team meetings.

Student Services:

• Assist the Speech and Language Pathologist in providing services for students with disabilities.
• Tasks include scheduling, screening, observations, instruction, and data collection in classrooms and/or individual/small group settings.

Health Services Documentation:

• Document health-related services in the Designated Medicaid documentation system for the DCSD (Douglas County School District) School Medicaid Reimbursement Program.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders
• Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology
• First Aid & CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
  
• Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Certification (SLPA) - ASHA and Colorado Department of Education
