JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sourcing Manager, Project Management, will be an integral member of a global support team and will lead sourcing for the North America project management office team that provides services associated with office space, major tenant improvements, site work and space reconfiguration projects. Interact with the project management, procurement, and corporate teams to develop sourcing strategies that support achieving department goals and align with the business strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Responsible for the negotiation, execution and implementation of work processes in accordance with the strategies within the commercial area and/or geography.
- Cultivates and manages relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure strategic sourcing alignment.
- Produces and executes necessary RFP templates and process, bid analysis, solution selection and negotiations to achieve the desired results.
- Develops and implements sourcing strategies for Program Management Office Team in alignment with business stakeholders.
- Utilizes business acumen and leverages best practices to drive value from the market and influence stakeholders.
- Uses influential leadership to elevate the performance of the workgroup.
- Identify and drive cost savings opportunities, process improvements and risk mitigation initiatives for the department and region.
- Ensures compliance to the company's policies, procedures and ethical standards in all sourcing activities.
- Participates on behalf of the company in approved or sponsored procurement organizations or related initiatives.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in business, purchasing, supply chain is preferred.
- 5+ years, or equivalent experience, in purchasing and/or logistics function. Preference for experience in commercial project management or construction.
- Demonstrated experience in price, terms and delivery negotiations, quality assurance, and procurement management.
- Experience in setting and achieving sourcing strategy with supplier management best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication required to liaise with multiple departments and vendors.
- Solid foundation of business intelligence and best financial practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented with ability to prioritize effectively.
- Natural problem solver with a bias towards action.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Demonstrated experience in working with a team in a fast-paced environment, coordinating logistics, and/or balancing multiple projects and timelines.
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 annuallyThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $120,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
