Description:
Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Iselin, NJ

Team Overview: Join a highly skilled team responsible for workflow management in financial crime investigations and anti-money laundering. The team develops applications for internal users to investigate and file regulatory reports. The group consists of 35-50 people split into 5 Agile teams, with 3 teams in the US and 2 in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and own test automation for multiple complex distributed applications.
• Supervise a team of Selenium developers supporting other teams.
• Enhance test automation practices and cross-train Agile team members.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to discuss design, development, and implementation.
• Perform standard developer activities including coding, unit testing, building, and releasing code.
• Develop Behavior Driven Development (BDD) based test suites using Gherkin, Cucumber, and Selenium.
• Implement functional and non-functional automated testing for RESTful APIs, batches, and Angular UI using tools like BlazeMeter, Cucumber, and Karate.
• Utilize version control (GitHub), integrated development environments (IntelliJ), and CI/CD tools (uDeploy, Jenkins).
• Ensure all non-functional requirements are met, adhering to enterprise guidelines and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Proficiency in BlazeMeter for performance testing.
• Experience with IntelliJ, GitHub, Agile methodologies, and Behavior/Test Driven Development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Selenium development experience.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or Teradata.
• 5+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services.
• 2+ years of experience in risk and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with technologies like Oracle, Java/J2EE, XML, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with enterprise-level case management and reporting solutions.

• This is a net new position.
