Job Title: Software Engineer (Contingent Resource)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer in this contingent resource assignment, you will:

• Consult and Participate: Engage in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
• Analyze and Review: Evaluate moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth assessment of variable factors.
• Problem Resolution: Assist in resolving moderately complex issues and collaborate with team members to meet Software Engineering deliverables, leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• Proficiency in:
  • Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
  • Python
  • Java, J2EE

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with:
  • Apache Spark (PySpark)
  • S3-enabled Object Store (e.g., NetApp)
  • UI libraries (specifically Angular)
  • Cloud migrations
  • Handling large datasets (billions of records)
  • Data governance (controls, data quality, lineage, data sensitivity)
  • GitHub, automated deployments, tightly-managed SDLC
  • Autosys, UNIX
  • Reporting tools (PowerBI, Dremio, etc.)
