Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $145,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Site Manager

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage daily operations at their steel mill facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in steel manufacturing, with proven leadership capabilities to ensure the efficient and safe functioning of the site.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise all aspects of steel mill operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
• Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Responsible for direct interface with customers, vendors, regulatory agencies and other third parties
• Financial management of site operations, to include profit & loss responsibility, expense management, capital investment and focus on seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and revenue growth

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 4+ years of operations management experience in the steel (mill and scrap operations), aggregate, construction or other related industries
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must have experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures, and industrial safety programs
• Experience working in and leading a maintenance department is preferred, to include knowledge of heavy equipment operations
• Project management, planning and the ability to develop a business plan
