Step into a role as a Retail & Shopper, Senior Analyst
At Hanesbrands Inc., we're transforming the way we drive business impact and value with our retail partners. As a Retail & Shopper Senior Analyst, you'll be at the heart of this, working closely with our retail, category management, and merchandising teams to unlock key insights that will fuel business growth. Your work will shape how we approach retail strategy, shopper behavior, and merchandizing best practices.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Acumen and Analysis: Develop and maintain an understanding of HBI's business strategies, objectives, and competitive landscape. Shape strategy and execution to our sales and retail partners. Identify critical business challenges and opportunities, proposing innovative solutions that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
- Data Analysis: Conduct analyses to identify shopper and retail trends to build channel strategy, assortment, and sales stories.. Utilize analytical tools and techniques to extract actionable insights from data and support sales and customer priorities..
- Collaboration with Data Science: Regularly review and analyze business performance to identify areas for improvement and propose high impact initiatives across shopper, shelf, and promotion programs. Collaborate with data analysts to implement new tools and solutions.
- Business Communication: Translate data into actionable, business-focused actions and effectively communicate decision support narratives. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally across the organization, including marketing, finance, operations, and product development, to be the voice of customer. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices in analytics, seeking opportunities to enhance HBI's analytical capabilities and drive innovation. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed to support special projects and initiatives.
Minimum Education/ Experience Bachelor's degree in business or a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or related field with 5+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for bachelor's degree
Preferred Education/ Experience Master's degree with 3+ years relevant work experience.
Specific Skills or Experience Required
- 3+ years of experience in a category management, sales analyst, sales planning, or business analytics role, with a track record of conducting advanced data analysis.
- Proficient with Nielsen or Circana Point of Sale and Panel data.
- Experience in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL.
- Proficiency with Luminate is a big plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
