How YOU will make an impact everyday:
- Introduction/on-boarding, development, compliance and cross training of manufacturing personnel.
- Establishing and maintaining training protocol focus on ensuring that individuals are fully trained & competent (including design and application of assessment tools).
- Maintain processes that include statuses (MOE/KPI), facilitate operators development in a timely manner, and drive cross training to improve flexibility, develop depth, and provide for advancement.
- Partner with the operations to monitor gaps in competency (Man/Method related non-conformances/issues), support RCCAPA, and strengthen areas to mitigate reoccurrences of issues and drive improvement in SQDIPC.
- Conduct proactive reviews of training materials, qualification trackers, assessments (Technical & Non-Technical), and regular audits which identify gaps between standards and actual practice.
- Facilitate & participate in qualification reviews & ensure all employee training records are up to date.
- Facilitate hands-on evaluation to ensure performance accuracy and compliance to work instructions
- Lead or support the recruitment & retention initiatives of the site.
- Other duties as assigned.
Helpful skills for YOU to succeed as a Senior Production Trainer in our PTFE Dept. (helpful, but not required):
- 5 Years experience operating manufacturing machines or equipment in the medical device industry.
- Demonstrated involvement in training.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications for YOU to be successful:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
- May require 0-1 year of general work experience
