Location: Sheboygan, WI (relocation available)
Job Mode: This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site work >50% but also providing remote work focus time on a weekly basis as desired
Primary Function and Scope
The Senior Electrical Project Engineer- Sustaining Product Development will be responsible for supporting the design, development, validation, and implementation of both electrical components and systems used in electronic systems products for Rehlko industrial generators.
Qualified candidates must have working design knowledge of analog and digital components, microprocessor-based systems and control systems.
The candidate must be capable of interpreting component specifications and electrical schematics and must have the skills to troubleshoot these parts individually or as part of a system for faults or failures. Similarly, they must be able to interpret issues with control system software to operate electronic systems and components. The candidate must have proven ability to use electrical and software tools to test or validate such components and systems. The candidate must be able to clearly communicate technical information via reports and presentations to both internal and external customers. It is expected that the candidate can work independently and with teams. This role also requires leading investigations on electrical and software issues and mentoring other associates.

BASIC FUNCTIONS
- • Lead or support implementation of electrical components or electronic systems on Rehlko generator platforms, including validation, testing, and postproduction support.
- • Develops and executes test specifications and test procedures to validate or verify component or system function.
- • Work with cross functional teams to implement electrical and controls systems.
- • Troubleshoot failures and work with suppliers to resolve issues.
- • Make recommendations for product improvements.
- Develop and implement special electronics systems as needed for testing.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITES• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Participate in design reviews and design FMEA's.
Assist with vendor investigation of root cause analysis for failed components.
• Contribute to lessons learned methodology and continuous process improvement.
• Provides technical guidance and design direction to CAD Analysts.
• Demonstrates teamwork, communicated effectively.
• Develops documents and achieves product specifications for customers, regulatory, and technical requirements
• Delivery of project work to time cost and quality.
• Demonstrates teamwork, communicate effectively.
• Work to develop individual goals/objectives to support the department goals.
• Personally demonstrate and drive the Rehlko Core Competencies.
Skills/RequirementsEDUCATION: - B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- • 2+ years of related work experience from an ABET Accredited program
- • Ability to lead and complete multiple projects in a timely fashion
- • Basic knowledge of C and C++ or an equivalent high-level programming language
- • Basic knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.

The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
