The Lab Network Engineering team for a telecommunications client is responsible for maintaining all of the lab networks. The team supports the day-to-day operation of lab networks, new network build requests, IP address allocation, lab security support, and advanced lab network troubleshooting. The Security Engineer III will be implementing and monitoring security measures for the protection of the lab networks. They will configure, manage, and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices, while designing lab security architecture. This individual is the primary point of contact for lab security issues and questions, working with lab tenants to respond to and resolve security incidents. They will audit of all existing lab security standards and controls: to include engineering designs, implementation guidelines, and equipment and technology upgrades on the lab networks. Working with Excel is a big part of this job, as all of the data sits on Excel.
