Job Description

  • Perform routine and non-routine testing; may develop solutions for basic technical problems. Assists in the implementation of new technologies or approaches.
  • Occasional contact with customer technical personnel to effectively coordinate laboratory studies.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrate technical writing skills.
  • Informs supervisor and interacts with peers in a clear, timely and professional manner.
  • Interpretation of data. Sound foundation and understanding of theory, instrumentation, and troubleshooting in multiple techniques.
  • Executes routine laboratory procedures and methods with minimal errors.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degreein chemistry, biochemistry, biology or closely related physical science from a four-year college/university or equivalent education and training:
  • Master's degree and >2 years related experience or
  • Bachelor's degree and >4 years related experience
  • Preference for candidates with proven experience in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LCMS) analysis of biomolecules.

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm . Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of San Diego, CA are encouraged to apply.
