Job Info


  • Conduct project new employee orientation and training meetings
  • Implement and monitor adherence to SHEMS program to include: conducting regular compliance inspections, support Superintendent's safety leadership, maintenance of EHS monthly reports, maintenance of Toolbox Talks, and attendance and support of safety meetings
  • Assist project teams in determining and/ or maintaining OSHA compliance and ISO 14001:2015 & 45001:2018 conformance
  • Compose and monitor project Emergency Action Plan
  • Review all accidents and/or near misses with Management to ensure corrective actions have been identified, implemented, maintained, and are functioning as intended
  • Manage all subcontractors on site as it relates to EHS
  • Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited four-year college or university
  • OSHA 10 hr. training certification and conversant in OSHA requirements
  • At least one year of related experience; highway construction and management experienced required
  • Knowledge and experience of federal, state, and local regulations
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to effectively make well-informed and sound decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to deal at all functional levels
  • High sense of urgency and deadline driven; goal oriented with ability to prioritize
  • Strong Interpersonal skills - able to lead diverse teams and persuade people at all organizational levels; able to work well in a group environment and foster a team approach
  • Exceptionally organized and meticulously detail oriented
  • Flexibility to travel as necessary
