HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR NORCROSS OFFICE
Job Purpose:
The Demand Specialist will be responsible for all other customers outside of the key accounts managed by the Demand Planners. They will review and analyze trends, collaborate, make recommendations, align and update forecasts based on new item, customer and forecast usage changes from Sales.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales to gather sales forecasts, historical data, and market insights to analyze align for new items, customers and forecast usage change requests
- Utilize demand planning tools to analyze data and generate accurate demand forecasts
- Follow inventory strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize shortages, and reduce excess inventory
- Monitor and evaluate market trends, seasonality, and promotional activities to inform demand POV
- Analyze and identify potential risks and opportunities related to demand and inventory, proposing appropriate actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare month end results scorecard for demand planning performance and present to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience and minimum 1 year experience Supply Chain, S&OP, Demand Planning, or related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of Demand Planning and Supply Planning
- Knowledge of advanced planning and ERP Systems; Oracle Fusion Cloud experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills, able to manage complex data sets
- Ability to use data to influence and challenge at various levels within sales organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter able to collaborate with cross functional teams
