Stanford eWear
The Stanford Wearable Electronics (eWear) Initiative Industrial affiliates program at Stanford has focused on a fundamental understanding of organic electronic material design with skin-like properties (flexible, stretchable, self-healing, and biodegradable) and enhanced electronic properties, patterning and fabrication of skin-like sensors, integrated circuits, displays, and batteries.(eWear website: https://wearable.su.domains/). The main applications they investigate are related to precision human and mental health and enhanced human performance, which can be attributed to the unique capabilities of the soft sensors and integrated circuits they have developed. Their insights into organic material design also allow them to design advanced electrolytes and polymer coatings rationally for more stable high-energy-density lithium metal batteries.
The eWear program is seeking a candidate for the position of Research and Development Scientist and Engineer. We are looking for a highly qualified professional to join our team, focusing on advanced research in the field of electronics. This role will emphasize initiatives related to the Stanford eWear program. Key responsibilities include engaging in hands-on electronics and system design, implementing projects related to the program, and providing guidance and support to students and postdoctoral researchers in areas pertinent to eWear projects.
