Research in the Department of Dermatology span a wide range of efforts, ranging from clinical trials to molecular translational medicine to fundamental studies in epithelial biology, as embodied in the Stanford Program in Epithelial Biology.Are you ready for the next step in your research administration career? If you have five years of research administration experience, this role may be perfect for you. Within the School of Medicine, Dermatology is a high-volume and productive administrative unit, and the staff collectively manage the pre- and post-award activities for a large and diverse portfolio of sponsoring agencies, working with federal, industry and non-profit sponsors on contracts, grants and clinical trials. The Research Administrator 3 will be part of a team committed to customer service tasked to grow the department's research enterprise, participate in training and education for research finance staff and faculty across the department and the schools, and provide pre and post-award portfolio management with an emphasis on post-award management. The successful applicant will be an energetic subject matter expert with excellent analytical skills who is able to deliver high quality product under tight timelines and who thrives in a complex, multi-disciplinary research department.
