Heavy Civil Construction On-Site Field Project Manager

Location:
New Jersey
Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 (based on experience)

Our client, a premier construction firm specializing in heavy civil projects, is seeking an experienced On-Site Field Project Manager. This role involves leading and overseeing heavy civil construction projects, including site development, underground utilities, retaining walls, and earthwork. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all on-site activities
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Monitor budgets and control costs
• Maintain accurate project documentation
• Resolve issues and conflicts
• Communicate effectively with clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in heavy civil construction
• Strong leadership, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools
• Ability to work on-site in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
