ECS is seeking a Program Director, Cyber Solutions to work in our Fairfax, VA office.

Job Description:

ECS is seeking a Program Director to lead a strategic Cyber Security Program in support of our National Security client. The scope of the program includes Program Management Operations, strategic planning and mission execution support across an end-to-end systems engineering program. This position is located in Fairfax, VA with the option for routine remote work. In this role, you will serve as a key member of our rapidly growing leadership team, responsible for the effective delivery of a large engineering program, ranging from 90 to 200+ employees.

We are seeking an accomplished, dynamic and creative leader, with experience successfully managing and expanding high impact cyber programs within a dynamic growth-oriented environment. The role requires superior customer skills, from delivery to business development including leadership over contract growth, adjacent work and recompetes. Your ability to develop and maintain credibility and trust and establishing yourself and the team as trusted advisors across the various customer groups will be critical to your success. The Program Director is responsible for all aspects of program start-up and program delivery, including operational management of the program team consisting of ECS employees, subcontract staff, and expert product consultants as well as the successful execution of all technical, schedule, cost, and quality performance of this program.

Required Skills:

• 15+ years of progressive and broad cyber security and program leadership experience inclusive of:
• Experience successfully starting and managing very high visibility, high impact Cyber Security projects with 200+ people
• Proven knowledge and experience in managing projects in support of Federal government customers
• Expertise in strategic planning / consulting services for a large, federal customer; experience in consulting with clients to define needs and issues, developing requirements, and analyzing findings to advise and recommend solutions to clients
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional, matrixed teams to affectively achieve project outcomes in a dynamic, agile environment
• Superior interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Expertise working directly with executive and senior-level federal clients
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple work streams, competing requirements and multiple schedules and to facilitate coordination and reconciliation between different stakeholders with the aim of delivering a comprehensive solution that exceeds expectations
• Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and grow business within a dynamic customer environment
• A demonstrated aptitude for complex problem solving, and leading teams to success.
• PMP certification

Desired Skills:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
• SAFe Certification and experience
• Experience in product release planning and management
• Experience managing DHS Programs
