What you will do:

  • Oversee the operational, administrative, and quality aspects of program(s) to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to develop, deliver, and assess program services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead monthly meetings with ACO stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring program objectives are met.
  • Design and implement training plans and development opportunities for staff, including coordinating internal training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Manage the annual program budget, monitoring performance and making adjustments as necessary to stay within financial guidelines.
  • Champion and support BHN's mission of delivering integrated, person-centered care across all levels of the program.
  • Establish clear performance measures, providing high-quality supervision and coaching to staff in line with BHN's Performance Management Philosophy.
  • Leverage data and reports to drive health outcomes, optimize program performance, and maximize incentive opportunities.
  • Lead staff and program initiatives in a culture of continuous quality improvement, ensuring ongoing refinement and innovation.


What are we looking for in a Program Director?
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy required.
  • Prior experience with responsibility for the operations of care management programs.
  • Prior experience in originating and leading practices and objectives that provide high quality care management programming aimed at improving health outcomes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in care management or population health programs.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a quality or performance improvement role.
  • Working knowledge of the principles of general management.
  • Ability to supervise and direct others.
  • Ability to structure and organize job responsibilities independently.
  • Strong computer skills and adept at using programs for producing PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge of effective care management and population health approaches with individuals with behavioral health, substance use, medical and social determinants of health concerns required.
  • Prior experience creating and using reports/data to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of services being delivered and program outcomes.
  • Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
