Job Description
Using standardized teaching materials, teach nutrition and other nutrition-related topics to low-income youth and/or parents or caregivers of youth participating in the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in a variety of community settings.
Recruit program groups through networking and collaborating with other individuals, community agencies, schools, and organizations. Use surveys to assess adults/youth before and after the series of lessons.
Participate in staff development and training opportunities to increase knowledge of nutrition topics and successful recruitment and teaching methods. Perform related work as required. This is a grant-funded position that is renewable by the sponsoring agency & by OSU.
This is a regular full-time position located at the OSU Extension office in Columbus, Ohio (covering Franklin County) with additional duties in other counties as needed.
