Volt is immediately hiring Production Leader at a facility in Tualatin!

2nd Shift - $24/hr (plus $1 differential)

Overview:

The Manufacturing Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring production schedules are met efficiently while maintaining quality standards. This position involves coordinating team activities, managing resources, and troubleshooting production issues to maintain a smooth workflow. By serving as a liaison between the production floor and upper management, the Manufacturing Lead ensures clear communication and achievement of objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight:
    • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
    • Train and mentor manufacturing staff, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Monitor equipment and machinery for malfunctions, arranging maintenance or repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Enforce compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, including health and safety measures.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
    • Provide coaching and performance evaluations for team members.

  • This is a Full time, Temp to Hire role

    Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

    Qualifications:

    1 - 2 years of experience in manufacturing management.

    Proficiency in lean methodologies and process optimization.

    Proficient in MS office programs

    Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

    Pay Rate - $24/hr
