Responsibilities:

• Assist in procurement processes, supporting procurement agents with data collection, analysis, and low-value procurement tasks.
• Prepare basic charts and reports for procurement agents and management, ensuring effective analysis of supplier costs, delivery, and quality.
• Perform procurement tasks under management supervision, focusing on low-value, non-complex procurements and releases under existing strategic agreements.
• Enter, update, and maintain procurement data in various systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Collect and organize data from multiple sources for evaluation of procurement processes and performance.
• Support procurement operations by scheduling meetings, recording minutes, processing forms, and handling administrative duties.
• Communicate with suppliers, procurement agents, and internal teams to resolve issues such as quotes, billing, contracts, and discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing and distributing procurement documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, statements of work) to suppliers to ensure contractual requirements are clear and met.
• Provide mentorship and support to less experienced procurement coordinators, assisting with higher-value procurement tasks.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass a credit check.
• Experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with procurement processes, contract structure, and change management.
• Strong analytical skills, including research methods, problem solving, and strategic decision-making.
