Actively contributes as a member of the Baseball management team with core responsibility for creating and delivering programs to support and develop life-skills for student-athletes. Work closely with Academic Services to ensure student-athletes maintain high level of academic responsibility and achievement. In correlation with coaching staff, mentors student-athletes to ensure successful interactions while dealing with the pressures associated with college life and athletics. Coordinates and organizes various aspects of OSU Baseball program under the general direction of the Head Coach and Assistant Athletic Director.

Travel is required in performing this job:  In- and Out-of-state team travel and various athletic functions throughout the year.

Normal work schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. However, circumstances will arise that make it necessary for employee to be able to work weekends and evenings during annual events, i.e.: recruiting weekends, game days, junior recruit days, clinics, etc.

Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain a cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent's salary includes compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sports Management or related field

One year of relevant experience in NCAA Athletics, or high school or college baseball coaching, or administration and supervisory experience. 

Knowledge of NCAA rules as it pertains to college athletics

Excellent management and organizational skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of computer software

Willing to travel and work unusual hours

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Business, Sports Management or related field.

NCAA Division I Athletics experience.

Knowledge of Big XII Conference rules pertaining to Division 1-A Athletics.
