Your Role:

The Manager, Platform Architecture & Automation is responsible for leading a team of architects and engineers who design, build, and deploy the technology platform operations strategy, roadmaps and automation, in accordance with Enterprise Architecture principles and in alignment with the strategies and roadmaps across IT Infrastructure. The Manager, Platform Architecture & Automation will also oversee the portfolio and financial management of the technology platform operations, ensuring that we optimize the value and efficiency of our investments and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Platform Architecture & Automation team, ensuring that they deliver high-quality solutions and services that meet the needs and expectations of the business and IT stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain the technology roadmaps for the Technology Platform Operations Team, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives across IT-I (DPI, Datacenter, Cloud), business objectives and the IT strategy.
  • Lead the POC execution for new technologies and solutions, evaluating their feasibility, scalability, and value proposition.
  • Plan the LCM and tech debt reduction for the existing technology platforms, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Define and communicate the vision, mission, and goals of the Platform Architecture & Automation team, and align them with the IT Infrastructure objectives and priorities.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, IT Infrastructure, and other IT and business teams to ensure that the technology platform operations strategy and roadmaps are consistent, coherent, and feasible.
  • Enable and promote automation across the technology platform domain, using infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous delivery tools and practices.
  • Manage the portfolio and financial management of the technology platform operations, ensuring that we optimize the value and efficiency of our investments and resources.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that the Platform Architecture & Automation team provides timely and professional communication and support.
  • Develop and mentor the Platform Architecture & Automation team members, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and managing teams of architects and engineers in a complex and dynamic IT environment.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing technology platform solutions, preferably in a cloud-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills across IT infrastructure domains, such as network, storage, compute, security, and automation.
  • Proficient in using infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous delivery tools and practices, such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and risks.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and individuals.
