Job Details:
This position is response for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to use computer, Microsoft Office, CMMS, Excel needed
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Ability to do simple calculations
Education and/or Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in parts inventory preferred
Communication Skills:
• Ability to take and follow direction from others
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
Physical Requirements / Environment:
• Stand/Walking: Frequently (3-6 hours)
• Sit: Frequently (3-6 hours)
• Lift/Carry: Continuously (11-24 lbs.) Occasionally (up to 50 lbs.)
• Bend/Stoop/squat/crouch: Frequently (3-6 hours)
• Other Physical Requirements:
o Pull/Push: Occasionally
o Climb Heights: Occasionally
• Physical Environment: Temperature varies on season
