Department Information
The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC), the state's University Center for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities, is comprised of 6 centers, a disability library, and an administrative office: with about 100 full time faculty, staff, and hourly employees. The IIDC's operations are funded by an annual state appropriation, grants and contracts, and a number of revenue producing programs. The IIDC Leadership Team, made up of 6 center directors, as well as the directors of finance, communications, IT innovations, interdisciplinary training, strategic developments, and administration. It also includes the chair of the EDI committee.
Job Summary
- Provides administrative support and assistance to Program Services Assistant, and others within the Administration building and Institute.
- Word Processing
- Supports the department staff with mail distribution, preparing mail for pick up by Mail Services or third party.
- Directs all calls and visitors to the intended recipient, open and close the office and conference rooms daily.
- Includes other administrative tasks related to the department.

Required- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
