Responsibilities:
Precision Imaging: You'll be the wizard behind the scenes, ensuring high-quality MRI scans. Your attention to detail matters-we're talking about visualizing the human body in incredible detail!
Patient Care: Interacting with patients is a crucial part of your day. You'll put them at ease, explain the procedure, and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process.
Technical Expertise: Operating MRI equipment requires finesse. You'll adjust parameters, optimize image quality, and minimize radio frequency exposure-all while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirements
1. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
2. Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York.
3. Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
2. Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited Institution and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
3. Associate's degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist; or
4. Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as an MRI Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.
NOTES:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
2. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.
