Salary/Position Classification

• 15.65 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 20 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time non benefited catering services position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set-up the tables, lay table linens, chairs, silver wares, center pieces, glassware etc., as assigned.
• Attend to the guests' needs and requests.
• Server must have knowledge on what food he or she is serving in the case of a guest asking.
• Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal.
• Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.
• Wash dishes as needed.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our guests.

Required Competencies

• Ability to stand for 3-4 hours.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen.
• Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings except for a plain wedding band while working in our facilities.
• Hairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areas.
• Incumbents should have an optimistic attitude, willingness to learn new skills, high degree of integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
