Come join our awesome team as a Parent Provider - CNA at Home Health of Western Colorado.

As a Parent Provider, your role is to ensure that your loved one receives daily skilled nursing care and activities of daily living. This position is contingent upon hours approved through the state Medicaid parent provider program and the qualifying child's care plan.

Home Health of Western Colorado is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare subsidiary of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

Hourly Pay: $14.85 per hour

    Required Qualifications:
    • Must be approved as a Parent Provider for the State of Colorado Medicaid program, or in process of being certified.
    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • State approved nursing assistant course completion/certification, or enrollment in approved course per state guidelines.
    • CPR Certified.
    • Must reside in Montrose, Delta, or Mesa county.
    • Possess the ability to read, write and carry out directions.
    • The COVID-19 vaccination is required per company policy and state healthcare regulations.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Have demonstrated the ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgment.
    • Have demonstrated dependability, tact, and ability to follow orders.
    • Customer service oriented.
    • Possesses coordination and dexterity required to provide resident care skillfully.
    • Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
    Essentials:
    • Assists loved one with activities of daily living.
    • Administer medications and treatments.
    • Documentation of cares given and pertinent observations. Reports any observations to the nurse.
    • Assists with ambulation, transfers and exercise.
    • Reports any suspected abuse or neglect per facility policy.
