The Multimedia Manager at FTI serves as the creative leader for all multimedia assets within the organization. This individual strategically leads a multimedia support team, managing the workflow and production of multimedia projects to ensure the brand is effectively represented through various visual applications such as videos, photography, and motion graphics. Collaborating seamlessly with the Creative Services Manager, the Multimedia Manager ensures flawless synchronization of brand assets to create exceptional multimedia products as directed by FTI's Creative Director.
This role requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a positive, go-getter attitude who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment. The Multimedia Manager must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate marketing strategies into compelling and innovative brand and communication deliverables. They must maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry equipment and software, react to ever-changing industry trends, and work effectively alongside a wide range of personalities. The position involves planning in collaboration with FTI team members, managing team resources, agencies, and production groups, leading the production and editing of video content, and supporting ideation and strategy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Multimedia/Video/Film Production) or equivalent body of work experience.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as a video producer, with at least 2 years of leading a video team with proven success building and managing a team in a self-directed manner.
Travel: 5-10%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
- Strong video editing skills with advanced knowledge of NLE systems (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Understanding of media asset management best practices
- Knowledge of DSLR and mirrorless camera systems, as well as sound and lighting equipment.
- Experienced and well-versed in all facets of the video production process.
- Ability to multitask between strategic thinking, planning, shooting, and editing based on department and organizational needs.
- Ability to direct work through external agencies or internal production resources, ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget.
- Empathetic leadership style with experience driving positive cultural change in growth situations.
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence, and make decisions in a partner-driven, matrixed environment.
- Able and willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Working knowledge of Office 365 suite and Workday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uses storytelling and production expertise to ensure projects align with brand and organizational strategies.
- Provides exceptional multimedia solutions to internal and external FTI audiences by conceptualizing, overseeing, and executing visual projects to ensure effectiveness and timeliness.
- Coordinates and manages multimedia asset production, including scoping requirements, organizing shoots, and tracking costs.
- Leads all aspects of digital video production across FTI digital platforms, including strategy development and execution of video content, managing the end-to-end creative production process.
- Oversees and advocates for the Multimedia team, including career-pathing plans, managing full-time video department staff, and leading the workflow of creative/multimedia projects from a strategic and operational standpoint while maintaining hands-on involvement in production when needed.
- Manages relationships with and coordinates the work of outside vendor partners (e.g., photography and video services).
- Serves as a multimedia and design expert during strategic discussions with organizational leaders
- Develops and enforces video department style guidelines, brand standards, and best practices.
- Oversees the digital asset library.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
