Our client is looking for an experienced medical biller and coder to join their continually growing team. They provide a variety of back office shared services for a large network of healthcare practices allowing for increased patient satisfaction and operations efficiency. Must have a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated billing, coding, and collections experience in a high volume environment. Ideal candidate has a service oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail. Competitive pay and excellent benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

* Review infusion notes for accuracy and to obtain information to code claim

* Add all cpt codes for infusions, injections and pre-medications attaching authorizations and insurance to complete the claim

* Apply any monies paid toward that date of service

* Review the claim before claim goes to clearinghouse

* Run batch to balance any monies applied to that days charges

* Review the claim edits for claims that have a problem that need to be corrected or a corrected claim sent by the collector

* Review work log folder for errors

Qualifications

* 1-3 years of medical billing, coding, & collections

* Attention to Detail

* Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment

* Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, EHR/EMR software
