The MarTech team is responsible for driving sustainable and measurable consumer brand, product, and revenue growth through scalable marketing technology and centralized data infrastructure. We are seeking a MarTech lead to manage our Marketing Technology roadmap for our Reality Labs business. You will define the strategy and day to day tactical execution across multiple internal and external partners & teams. The MarTech team is a vital component of the organization, operating at the intersection of business, technology, and operations. This is a leadership opportunity to own the product strategy and roadmap for one of our most important lines of business. We are seeking a leader with in depth knowledge of Signal Infrastructure, Tag Management and Marketing and Ad Technology.

MarTech Lead, Reality Labs Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall MarTech Signal Infrastructure and Tag Management program including data collection, logging and tracking pixels on a variety of platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat) using first party integrations and third party tools such as Tealium iQ.
  • Develop strategy to achieve the long-term vision and short-term goals for the AdTech and MarTech team.
  • Outline product features and deliverables through a clear understanding of the problem space of advertising tracking technology.
  • Use domain knowledge, leveraging data skills and expertise to craft effective solutions and our product roadmap.
  • Execute on projects by working closely with Software and Data Engineering, Data Science, Product Growth and Direct Response Marketing to land impact on business goals.
  • Manage execution of the Signals Infra Tag management program: oversee the implementation from start to finish, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Develop sound hypotheses and partner with relevant team members to develop experimentation and testing roadmap from designing tests to analyzing results that lead to data-driven decisions.
  • Anticipate challenges, identify risks and opportunities early in the development process to create durable solutions to drive sustained impact.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance to Paid Media teams for campaign setup and launch.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance of tracking infrastructure that accurately tracks high-value actions (such as button clicks, pages views, eCommerce purchases, App installs etc.)
  • configure tracking for new campaigns and platforms
  • and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Project manage and drive execution of strategic initiatives including new technologies, privacy requirements implementation and existing tools evolution
  • Document and rollout of key processes to internal team and agency partners.
  • Drive long term growth through a combination of data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation to optimize our Signal Infra program.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+years of media/ad ops/digital industry experience
  • Experience working in a Tag Management system such as Tealium iQ and knowledge of concepts such as Data Layer, Custom Tag Templates, and Extensions
  • Experience with ad servers and mobile measurement partners (e.g. Kochava, Singular, AppsFlyer etc) required
  • Experience working directly with paid media vendors on pixel implementation and conversion tracking setup
  • Proficient with Third Party Ad Servers (Campaign Manager/Google Marketing Cloud) and rich media technology
  • Prove track record working in a fast-paced environment while managing committing priorities to keep projects on track
  • Project management skills especially working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment
  • Proven to effectively collaborate across variety of technical and non-technical functions to drive towards common product goals
  • Experience working with and influencing multi disciplinary product teams consisting but not limited to software engineers, designers, product managers and data scientists
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis geared towards drawing actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Experience performing exploratory analysis with minimal direction to answer ambiguous open ended questions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL)
  • Bachelor's degree with Marketing/Technology focus is preferred
  • E-Commerce/Gaming industry experience preferred
  • Experience with demand side platforms a plus (e.g. The Trade Desk, DV 360, Verizon)
  • Familiarity with multi-touch and advanced marketing attribution models

$150,000/year to $211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
