Manager, Event Marketing - Seller Acquisition

We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to join our team and help execute our Marketplace events strategy. The ideal candidate will lead with creativity and have a diverse experience planning and executing events, including trade shows, industry events, and experiential marketing activations. They will be able to recommend and activate strategies such as conference attendance, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, partnerships and more. The ideal candidate would have experience in conceptualizing booth and activation design and is an expert in working with marketing agencies.
This role is a critical addition to the Marketplace marketing team, with the goal of attracting and tracking new leads and generating awareness and interest for the brand. This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help build relationships with customers.
You will make an impact by:
• Manage the planning execution of third party (3P) events with a clear understanding of the market opportunity, from inception to assessment.
• Lead the trade show activations including booth presence, onsite and experiential engagements, offsite activations, and all content/speaker management.
• Lead the event journey from inception to completion.
• Creating successful designs that resonate with the intended audience and business objectives
• Financial management, including budget development and management, expense management and invoice processing, timely post-event reconciliation and final financial reporting
• Manage go-to-market event playbooks, including work-back schedules and execution plans for each event.
• Collaborating with the team to define client segments and targeting.
• Perform post-event lead consolidation, including uploads and tracking using CRM systems.
• Managing event tactics as part of integrated omni-channel campaigns that bring new leads to the pipeline and nurture down through the funnel
• Evaluate event performance by compiling, analyzing, and reporting metrics and KPIs.
• Source event services from vendors and marketing agencies.
• Traveling as needed for on-the-ground event management
• Partnering with other Walmart business units for mutually beneficial event opportunities
• Effectively communicating across the team to share plans, updates, and results.
• Create and closely monitor value adds at every opportunity and demonstrate commercial awareness
• Share knowledge of best practices, new suppliers, services and venues
You'll sweep us off our feet if...
• You have 6+ years of relevant event marketing experience (experience in Collectibles a plus).
• You are experienced using Salesforce or other Martech/ CRM solutions
• You bring a track record of managing event marketing growth strategies (in a B2B setting preferred)
• You are a confident communicator with strong analytical and writing skills
• You have experience working with BD teams and a strong understanding of how event marketing supports business KPIs
• You have strong project management, negotiation skills and organization skills
• You bring vendor management experience
• You are willing to travel for events and team meetings, as needed
• Experience in retail, ecommerce an added plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-08479/San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
