We have an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift - Maintenance Mechanic at our Pico Rivera, Ca location. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
This position is with an industry leading food manufacturing company that specializes in quality bakery ingredients, products, supplies, and services.
Shift Details:

2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11:30PM
- Must be flexible for overtime and shift changes
Pay Rate: $36.00 - $46.00 per hour + Standard Benefits *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
Here's what we're looking for: - Must have 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially with machinery such as steamers, line equipment, and conveyors.

PLC troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Ability to train and work on various shifts.
- Electrician Certification desired
Here's what you'll be doing: - Perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot various areas in the plant, including Frozen Department, Dry Mix Department, Tower, Basement, Compressor Room, and Boiler Room through regular inspection and test procedures.
- Perform basic repairs within office facility on furniture, lighting, paging system, etc.
- Install and maintain electrical equipment/controls, circuits, and PLC.
- Troubleshoot, identify worn parts, and rebuild machine assemblies, pumps, meters, valves, valve actuators, and other equipment.
- Participate in facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
- Handle and use various chemicals safely with strict adherence to hazardous communication and MSDS requirements.
- Support and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, and preventative maintenance programs.
