Overview

The loan tool specialist is an excellent problem solver, mechanically inclined and has basic knowledge of tools and equipment. Responsible for the inventory of all loan tools, distributing, collecting, inspecting, ordering, and recording of tools loaned. Required to preform normal warehouse functions including; picking orders, shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key Tasks

  • Check in/out special tools and equipment verifying operation status
  • High level of understanding of inventory transactions & AP processes, complex transactions and ability to manage and resolve issues.
  • Working understanding of tools and their use.
  • Must be able to work with minimal oversight with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required.
  • Daily use of Excel - intermediate level needed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Must be flexible and multi-task oriented.
  • Ability to follow-up on multiple issues timely.
  • Track the distribution of tools and users in a database. Prepare monthly use report.
  • Prepare necessary damage/use reporting as required.
  • Ability and understanding of testing procedures, documentation, record management.
  • Develop standardarized work instructions with management.
  • Other duties as assigned

Shipping:
  • Remove product from inventory and ensure accurate part numbers and counts match pick list.*
  • Package daily orders in proper carton size to ensure safe shipping to the customer without damage.*
  • Create proper shipping documents via UPS, FedEx, or YRC. Domestic and international.*
  • Monitor Equipment Solutions shipping box and process manual shippers as needed.
  • Confirm sales orders ERP system.
  • Perform cycle counts daily.
  • Assist in automatic shipments as needed.
  • Clean work area daily; maintenance of warehouse.

Receiving:
  • Unload trucks and match peace count to freight bill. Inspect for any damage cartons.*
  • Maintain daily receiving log.*
  • Match all shipments to receiving documents. Verify part numbers and counts.*
  • Match all packing list against purchase orders enter into system.*
  • Scan packing list and any other documentation into the paper wise log.
  • Monitor the Equipment Solutions receiving in box.
  • Location control.
  • Package and label parts as needed.
  • Process and log (NTR/BTR) in non-conforming rack.
  • Post receipts in ERP system.
  • Perform cycle counts daily.
  • Clean work area daily; maintenance of warehouse.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Up to five (5) years' experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge; MS Office applications.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communications.
  • Work extended hours as needed.
  • Self-motivated; positive and professional.
  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing work environment.
  • Fork lift truck experience.
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be a team player.
