Location: Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The LOA/Disability Case Manager Specialist will be responsible for intake, review and facilitation of the interactive process for ADA (Americans with Disabilities ACT) and PWFA (Pregnant Workers Fairness Act).

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides a timely and thorough review of ADA claims and makes professional determinations.
  • Manages the workflow for a large number of claims that will be managed by the LOA/Disability Case Managers to ensure equitable workload distribution and administering of claims within department standards.
  • Provides advocacy case management to all appropriate LOA/ADA claims.
  • Manages high impact LOA/ADA claims to identify the obstacles and opportunities for returning associates to work.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience in health and welfare benefits, disability management, HR operations, and/or benefits administration; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
  • Experience working through the end-to-end LOA/ADA process preferred.
  • Workday experience preferred.
  • ServiceNow experience preferred.
